Available Horses
In order to find the best placement, all of our available horses will be:
1) Evaluated by a veterinarian (and specialist when required) in order to best understand the animal’s needs now and in the future
2) Evaluated by a professional trainer to understand behavioral quirks, training level, and recommended adopter experience level
3) Up to date on Coggins, vaccines, dental float, deworming, and farrier work
4) Thoroughly documented throughout duration with HRER so that every detail about behavior, vices, and personality get captured
Honesty is key:
1) We ask that all adopters remain transparent regarding their plans for the equine, their capabilities to provide care , and their experience level.
2) In return, we will provide full transparency regarding the horse you are interested in. Our mission is to place animals in the RIGHT home- not just any home.
Please Note:
We currently only adopt to people in Texas and surrounding states.
When you adopt, you will sign a contract that states you will not breed, sell, or give away your adopted horse. If you cannot keep him or her, he/she will come back to HRER or be rehomed with a HRER contract. If the adopter finds that their new horse is not a good fit in the first 45 days, the animal will be returned to HRER and the adoption fee refunded.
